About the Workshop

Our Goals

Welcome to our platform, designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among Western Canadian researchers in pharmaceutical sciences, including medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutics, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, and physiology. Our goal is to create a vibrant forum where experts can connect over shared interests and build cross-disciplinary partnerships within and across institutions.

Additionally, we are committed to providing valuable training opportunities for postdoctoral, graduate, and undergraduate researchers who are passionate about advancing their careers in the pharmaceutical sciences.

The Seventh WCMCW will be held September 20-22, 2024
Location: Education building, room 1004 

The University of Saskatchewan is a Canadian public research university, founded on March 19, 1907, and located on the east side of the South Saskatchewan River. Our main campus is located in the vibrant city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and is recognized as one of the most beautiful in Canada. While here, the WCMCW will provid training opportunities for postdoctoral, graduate and undergraduate researchers interested in the pharmaceutical sciences. 

The WCMCW Banquet will be held Saturday September 21, 2024, 7:00pm
